First layout

Product sales have gone wild already, with over 60 embellishment packs sold! That's over $120 raised just yesterday afternoon for the Royal Children's Hospital. But it also means if you don't want to miss out, you'd better get your order in fast!

Our first designer showcasing our embellishments is the mega-talented Lusi Austin. Lusi has used the chipboard people and the acrylic rocket in a beautiful page about her father and her daughter "She is Besotted". I love the way Lusi has drawn stitching around the people!

Crop for Kids EXCLUSIVE embellishments!

Yes, it's finally time for the grand unveiling of our exclusively designed Crop for Kids embellishments. That's right ladies, you can't get these gorgeous pieces anywhere except through us! We'd like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Scrapware, Crafty Matters & Julie's Craft Stop who so generously agreed to donate a limited number of these products so that 100% of the sales price can be given to the Good Friday Appeal.

Check them out!

Aren't they fantastic! And at only $2 a pack, extremely affordable.

Descriptions:
Chipboard people - made by Scrapware and designed by our competition winner, Samantha Plowright these people are made from strong chipboard and stand approximately 2" tall. They come in a pack of one boy and one girl and link together in any combination, so why not buy a few sets and make a whole family! It takes 8 people (4 packs) to completely span a 12" page.

Ceramic pack - made by Crafty Matters this star and circle pack is made from strong, glazed ceramic. Each is approximately 1" tall making it the perfect size for any scrapbooking project.

Acrylic rocket - It can be hard to find great boyish embellishments, and this funky acrylic rocket is one of the coolest we've seen. Made by Julie's Craft Stop, it is approximately 3.5" tall.

If you keep an eye on this blog in the coming weeks you'll see pages by our guest designers using these fantastic pieces. We'd also love to see anything that YOU create! So send us photos and we'll add them to our sidebar as inspiration for everyone.

Postage:
$1.80 for up to 8 packs sent within Australia. Postage on orders of more than 8 packs, or postage outside Australia will be calculated on a case by case basis.

Ordering information:
Orders can be placed via email to cropforkids@gmail.com
You need to include your name and address and the quantity of each embellishment you require. The total cost will be sent to you along with payment instructions. In all cases, payment must be received before the embellishments can be sent to you.

And the winner is....

After much deliberation, we have much pleasure in announcing that the winner of the Chippie Competition is Samantha Plowright! I won't spoil the suprise by telling you what she designed as it is currently in production by Scrapware and will be available right here on the Crop for Kids blog very soon. Congratulations Samantha, you have won a hamper of Scrapware products valued at $50, courtesy of Scrapware, and a $50 gift voucher thanks to The Scrapbook Establishment.

Deciding on the winner of this competition was extremely difficult, and there were two other entries that were exceptional. Rihani Rafeek and Vita Thai also submitted gorgeous designs and as a special runner-up prize we'd like to offer each of them a hamper of Scrapware products valued at $25.

Thank you to everyone who submitted designs. You made our job very difficult!

We hope to have not only the exclusive Scrapware chipboard embellishments for sale by the end of the month, but we will also have acrylic embellishments from Julie's Craft Stop and ceramic embellishments from Crafty Matters. Each company has contributed a limited number of their exclusively designed product and all proceeds will be donated to the Good Friday Appeal. So keep checking the blog so you don't miss out!
